When the agreement comes into effect on 14 June 2007, Danfoss will own 25% of Necos‘ shares and the companies will cooperate to sell and distribute Necos‘ products worldwide. Necos, based in Treviso, near Venice, Italy, was founded in 2004 and has 15 employees. The company‘s products are based on an open programming platform that offers customers a high-quality, customisable and flexible solution for use in a wide range of HVAC/R and Industrial Automation applications. Senior Vice President Kjeld Kückelhahn, Danfoss Electronic Controls & Sensors, says that the joint venture will expand Danfoss‘ already strong product range of controls for customers within air conditioning.
